Mother's Day

Mother's Day! 💐🌷🌺🌹🌸

Although this one day does not truly justify all that you do
Today is the day that you are glorified for every day and everything you've pushed through
For ever tear you dried, wound you nursed and every last dollar you gave
You're appreciated, being a mom you've proved that women are brave
Because being a doctor, nurse, teacher, cook, housekeeper, driver and the list goes on is never easy
But you do it with style and grace and you never complain after every long night and early mornings you were sleepy
Many of times you cried, plenty of nights you wanted to give up
But, being a mom you don't get to quit, see you keep going, you give and do more than enough
You are strong, built ford tough!
So no this one day doesn't fully compensate for all 365 days a year that you work
But getting paid in laughs and smiles, hugs and kisses is always enough
On today and everyday, even if no one else tells you, you are a superwoman
So hold your head up, and never stop doing your best, your child needs you
I see every sacrifice and I know every struggle, I get it, but keep doing what you do
For every cheer you screamed at a field or event and trip to the emergency room
You're always selfless, you take pride in your role and being "Mommy" is your favorite costume
So on today and everyday you are enough, you are appreciated and your title never goes unnoticed, even if your child does now know how or what to say,
I'll say it proudly, "We LOVE YOU ❤️HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY😘!"

I  LOVE MY C-SECTION SCAR! It's a reminder of one of the best things in life. It shows my survival of childbirth. It reveals all the pain I endured to have pleasure in being Kaidy's mother. Happy Mother's Day to me!
